About the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Course
The 8 week Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course is commonly acknowledged to be the ‘Gold Standard’ Mindfulness course and is suitable for anyone who wishes to learn some simple techniques and strategies to reduce stress; to feel calmer and to improve well-being.
The MBSR consists of 8 weekly sessions lasting 2 hours. If you attend this MBSR course you will learn some simple practices and techniques, easily incorporated into your daily life, which can help you manage stress and thereby improve your health and sense of well-being. Research into the benefits of Mindfulness shows that regular practice of the Mindfulness exercises reduces stress, improves emotional resilience and enhances a sense of well-being.

Each session lasts two hours.
In order to benefit fully from the 8 week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course, it is strongly recommended that all 8 sessions are attended and you need to attend 6 of the 8 sessions to be awarded the end of course MBSR certificate.
A programme of both daytime and evening courses are planned for 2019 and 2020
